Formed in 2003, La Ruina is a model of what a good fantasy baseball keeper league should be. With twelve interconnected managers (friends of friends of friends), 16 total statistical categories (K/BB, TB, Blown Saves among others) and no monetary prize (bragging rights are so much more valuable than $200), it’s like LOST by way of Baseball Prospectus. Sure almost all of the managers are rabid when it comes to fantasy baseball, but what really makes La Ruina tick is the competitive banter.
