Guess Who’s Blowing Their Season!?
March 10th, 2008 · 7 Comments
In preview of this coming weekend, I’m going to pick five teams who royally blew the draft last season and then leave it to you to see if you can guess who this manager is!
I call it Guess Who’s Blowing Their Season!?
Without further adieu, it’s time for the Monday Edition.
Hi, my keepers were awesome. I […]

I told Kris yesterday that I would be joining most of the guys in the city for the draft. He was kind enough to email me directions to his office and also sent a few pictures of how it would be setup.

Matt Kemp tripled twice and drove in three runs Saturday as the Dodgers crushed the Cardinals 20-6.
Triples are especially valuable for Kemp, as they serve to cut down on the number of opportunities he has to make stupid mistakes on the basepaths. He’s 9-for-27 with a homer this spring.

Ladies and Gentleman, Your La Ruina 2008 Keeper Rankings…
March 6th, 2008 · 9 Comments
Nature or nuture? This age old question has never been more relevant than it is in La Ruina 2008. It goes to figure that the team with the best keepers should have a nice head start towards making their dream of winning the greatest fantasy baseball league of all-time come true. That […]

Re: CONTRACT RENEWAL
Congratulations! We, the Baltimore Orioles, have unilaterally decided to renew your contract at the princely sum of $455,000 per anum. You’ll note that’s a $55,000 raise over last years deal. With a .300 average, 23 homeruns and […]

Already Showing More Power Than DL (Derrek Lee)

From Rotoworld:
Lance Berkman had an RBI double in four at-bats Sunday in his spring debut.
Berkman was allowed to play today even though the Nationals started a right-hander. He was having a more difficult time swinging left-handed than right-handed since suffering a strained oblique.

The First Round?
February 29th, 2008 · 4 Comments
These are the best players available, in the order I remember them:
Carlos Beltran, Carlos Lee, Aramis Ramirez, Derek Jeter, Josh Beckett, C.C. Sabathia, Eric Bedard, Joe Mauer, Brian McCann, Ryan Zimmerman, Curtis Granderson, Travis Hafner
That’s a lucky 13.
Any others? Rios, maybe? Carlos Pena?
